Frederick, a versatile individual with a diverse skill set, is a seasoned professional who seamlessly blends construction and design expertise garnered through years as a general contractor. In addition to his technical acumen, he brings over two decades of leadership experience as a pastor, successfully guiding congregations and applying his insightful leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the family business.
Prior to establishing his company, Victor spent the majority of his professional career in the corporate world where he worked his way up through the ranks of the hospitality industry. He has extensive experience in strategic planning and implementation, business assessment, management, and development. He has led diverse teams and opened and supported businesses in North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The skill set required to be successful in these diverse markets has helped him develop a unique personal philosophical and operating principle that prioritizes innovation, collaboration and developing people with a strong results orientation focus.
As founder and Chief Strategic Officer of Pimento Jamaican Kitchen, Tomme leads the company’s growth strategy to become the top provider of authentic Jamaican food experiences globally. Additionally, Tomme leads Pimento Relief Services and the Pimento Foundation in their support for leaders on the frontlines of economic liberation, social liberation and political liberation. A recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award from President Bill Clinton, Tomme has also lived in Washington, DC, where he managed the same award for President George W. Bush, and held posts at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Is a long time resident of Minneapolis and a 30 year educator at Minneapolis Public schools. She has served as a state delegate for many years and served on the Education Minnesota Board. Geneva has also served on Minneapolis Public Schools COPE committee to be part of the process of endorsing elected officials for office and is a member of Mom’s Demands Action. Geneva is dedicated to making and being a part of change for our upcoming generation with a true belief in our communities and committed to change the stigma of our youth.

Our application for recognition of exempt status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit was filed with the Internal Revenue Service on February 13, 2024. Donations to the Minneapolis Black Cultural Center are not tax-deductible until the IRS issues the exemption determination letter.
